Morris Adamson

Proprietor Morris Adamson opened the doors to Rothbury Family Butchers in May 2000 after having worked in Butchery trade since 1986.

Having over 14 years experience in the meat industry he decided it was about time to set up his own business and Rothbury family butchers was born. Morris and his dedicated team have now taken the shop in rural Northumberland to a Multi Award Winning Butchers and established it as officially one of Britain’s best butchers.

Always Friendly and helpful Morris spends his time outside work coaching local kids football team.

Tom Proudlock

Has a lifetime of experience in the meat trade and managed his own Butchers shop for 30 years.

Tom is a Master Butcher of traditional methods and values. He has been in the trade all his working life and knows the business inside out.

Proprietor Morris Adamson says “ With all Tom's years of experience he has probably forgotten more than I know" " But that's not hard with his memory!"

Paul Bartlett

Paul Bartlett joined the team in June 2005 and has quickly fitted in as “one of the lads”.

After retiring from 30 years service in the Police force Paul has a wealth of experience in dealing with the public and the drive and enthusiasm of a nineteen year old (If not the hair! !).

Paul is instrumental in the creation of new products in the shop and rumour has it he came up with the idea for the Cragside Cracker sausage (Pork, Rosemary and red Onion) their double Gold award winning sausage!

Proprietor Morris Adamson says “ Paul has been like a breath of fresh air since he joined the staff he is constantly coming up with ideas for new products to try in the shop .” “he also keeps the lads entertained with his stories of his time in the Police force.
