In October 2005 Rothbury Family Butchers gained “Q” status when they were accepted in to the prestigious Guild of Q Butchers.
Only the best Butchers in the country are admitted to Guild and a prospective Q butcher has to submit the whole business- shop, products, staff, procedures and customer service to a rigorous inspection process that can take many months.
Q butchers promote traditional butchery craft skills with a modern approach to exciting ideas on products and service.
They meet regularly to discuss and exchange new ideas and the development of new lines through product evaluation.
